Still Here!!!

hello to all!! just to let you know we are still around!! still alive! just trying to stay in the A/C!!!!

we finally have a definite move date!!! praise the Lord! we move 8/15! TC has been in Va for almost 2 weeks now- looking desperately for a house! we have finally found THE one. not sure when we close (TC is handling that). but MAC and i are scheduled to move on the 15 th!! yay!!
i will keep you posted!

how embarrassing!

ever have those moments when your child says something and you are just REALLY glad you are good friends with the person he/she says it too? yeah had one of those moments sat.
so my good friends rachael and edward stopped by to chat and bring me a coupon (YAY!). they visited for a while. MAC was being his charming self and had gotten upset becasue he wasn't being allowed to watch cartoons at the moment.
so he is sitting down and rachael and edward decided its time to head out. edward goes to tell MAC good-bye...of course, MAC has his personal space that expands and retracts without any notice at all. so he gives edward this dirty look. edward gives it back to him (laughing)...they have a little stare off. all of the sudden-

MAC says, "hey, do you know what time it is?"
Edward replys, "uh...i think its...."
MAC interrupts, "time to leave!"

AUUUUUGGHGHGHHG!!!!! how RUDE!!! now i know my child has learned a lot of things he shouldn' have from listening to me (i know you're surprised). but he didn't hear that one from me! i send him to his room. then of course, we adults proceeded to laugh until we cry!!!!!
thank heaven he said it to them and not someone i don't know as well! what am i going to do with two BOYS?!!!! haha!

Margin of Error

Alright- so the moment we have all been waiting for has arrived. will sprout be wearing pink or blue?? weeeeellllllllll.........BLUE! HE wasn't very cooperative (just like big brother) so we didn't get to many photos to post....yup...all my maternal instincts were WRONG!! the Draino test-WRONG!!! the 70/30 of the previous sonogram-WRONG! the tech said, "OH YEAH thats a boy!!" haha!!!

so now we just have to choose a name. had the girl name all picked out.....but boy names were iffy. Soooooo....all of you gals who thought "girl" were wrong too! lol! everything looked great....10fingers and toes...i'm still amazed at the look we get into their little brains!

MAC is happy....he has told me about 2 weeks ago that he had changed his mind....meaning he wanted a brother!

SO i guess everyone can let out that breath you've been holding! and throw boy names my way!!!

hey there!! we are still in VA- just wanted to update.
things are VERY different here than @home. it very flat here! haha! mostly 1-2 buildings. everything is very spread out...but there are like cities w/in the city...i guess like trussville or chelsea you know?? BUT they literally ALL bump right together. my head is spinning. OH! did i mention that there are really only like 8 main roads? all almost NONE of the residential areas are visible from them? so you have to know where you are going or you jsut either drive into a dea end street or in circles!!! thank God for real estate agents!!!
HOUSING-one word- AAAAUUUUGHGHGHGHGHHGHGGHGHHGHG!!!! is that a word? or an emotion? haha! doub;e the prices (easily) than what we are used to. but we think we have found one...
Cant really call this a vacation so we haven't taken any photos. MAC has been a real trooper thought all of this! 5hrs in the car sun, 7.5 mon, 5 hrs looking at houses tues, 5 hrs looking wed!!! he has been amazing!!! i just pray that it holds for the next 3 dys! we get back on the road tomorrow late morning....
we are hoping to be able to make an offer before we leave. this has been a CRAZY, stressfull, and frustrating experience. HOWEVER< it is so much easier KNOWING that we are in God will. WE know. its only our logical (human) brains getting in the way. PLEASE continue to pray for us! love you all- and look forward to seeing many of you on the 12th. but i will try to take a few photos of our 4th- with my sister and post before we leave!!!
