my sweet angel is turning 4!

these are a few photos of my sweet boy through the past few years. i can't believe our baby is 4!!(the photos are obviously in chronological order) our boy has been such a blessing. his personality is (ach-hem) challenging...but then he is my snuggle buddy most of the time...he has been so precious these past few weeks wanting me to snuggle with him and giving me hugs and kisses. he is a child who loves to learn, he is very imaginative, LOVES babies, AND the ladies. i know that he will grow to be a powerful man in Christ. but for now we are going to ejoy him being our sweet little man. i love you MAC!!! happy birthday little man!

what i was doing 10 yrs. ago?
sheesh! that was an entire lifetime ago!
this time 10 yrs ago i was getting ready to graduate high school! haha! i had NO idea what i was going to do with my life...i was going to attend a local community college and kinda figure things out for a yr or two...when my bestest friend suggested that we should go to a slightly less local university TOGETHER! we could room together and have a ton of fun!!! and we did! that decision totally changed everything! i met my future husband 5 months later, made some amazing life long friends, and found a job that i loved!!! the rest is history!

5 things on my to do list today/ tomorrow:
1. stay awake for more than 3 hrs!
2. fold and PUT AWAY the mounds of clean clothes piled up
3. have my tire checked out
4. renew my car tag
5. cook dinner (of some sort)
exciteing stuff huh?

2. peanut butter and jelly

4. chips n' salsa ( from you know where)

1. TITHE!!!

our little sprout

well, our little Sprout has certainly grown!!! we had to return to the doctor today for an 8 wk checkup-ultrasound. now on the photo he/she still looks something like a little blob...we could see the beginnings of the spine and arms... apparently he/she was asleep because there wasn't much of a performance.... :( however MAC was thrilled that he got a photo of his very own when he returned from moms day out.

i'm not sure there is really any point in posting the photo- but for those interested and experienced- the blob is Sprout....head is on the right and the little part sticking up is an arm "bud"...and if you look very closely at the bottom there is a bright white part divided by a little black "line"...that the little spine...AWWWWWWW!

Exciting news!

yes folks- our family is expanding! i think i hear a sigh of relief from the crowd. for those of you who thought we would never getting around to a sibling for MAC---the newest addition will be making his/her debut sometime around Thanksgiving!!! yay! how appropriate that God will bless us with a new baby on the day that we celebate how thankful we are! Until we find out what we are having, the newest addition is being referred to as "Sprout." we thought this appropriate since we have LOTS of things sprouting everywhere......i plan to update everyone on all of our other projects around the house....but for now...just enjoy our exciting news!!!!!
